Parallelogram Garland

This is my latest garland in the shop.  I love it, but not nearly as much as my lovely photographer's assistant at the bottom of this!

Zoo Day!

We went to the zoo today. It was fun and stuffs even though it was super muggy out! It was all Ging's and Grandpa's idea.  We haven't been since Alex was about the same age as the twins are now.  Finally the girls are old enough so we can go out and explore the world again ( the zoo, exciting!)!  Gosh, our sweet little babes are already 3 and 1! It's crazy how time flies!
Sweet Sophia, being sweet

Custom Maternity Shirt

The Maternity Dark T-Shirt I designed on CafePress.com

I am 28 weeks and 3 days pregnant with 2 little girls that are already plotting against me!.... That's why I haven't been on here in a while!

So I broke down and bought a twins T-shirt because I am getting tired of strangers coming up to me and asking questions about what a freak-show I look like these days... The last part that reads: I used to be a size 0; is more for my sanity. I think I'm probably a size 16 or 18 even now!!!! I can't believe it.... How does a person grow that much in 2 and a 1/2 months?!?!   It's largely ( Ha! Largely!) due to the fact that I can't do any form of exercise, and have been eating chocolate. I can't stop myself. I know it's bad, but I space it out during the day and the intake of caffeine is well under the daily allowance of 200mg.

If you can't read the shirt it says:

TWINS
1) Yes, I am having Twins.
2) They are due mid August.     ( that's the one where people's eyes bug out and then they try to act like I look great! ha!)
3) They are both girls.
4) I don't know if they are identical.
5) I use to be a size 0 sad face.

I'm hoping complete strangers will stop harassing me at the grocery store or where ever I am, because if I am going out somewhere, I am usually out for a very specific reason, due to the fact that I can hardly walk anymore, and I physically just don't have the time to stand around and talk to people I don't even know!!!
Ok! enough ranting, My sweet little Zander just woke up.... Poor little guy, has no idea what he is in for..... I hardly have any idea what we are in for, having two babies at once. I am both terrified and incredibly excited :)

Baby Safe Christmas Ornaments

No glass here!!.... I have tons of glass ornaments that are so pretty and shiny, and are exactly the type of thing my 18 month old has to get his hands on!!  So they are not going on the tree this year! :(  But I still wanted to have circular pretty baubles on my tree, so here's what I did:

Step One
Got a circle paper punch 2.5", some glitter cardstock ( or you can use plain cardstock if ya like!), Extreme glue stick and a brown or green embroidery floss.

Step Two
Punch the paper and fold each circle in half.

Step Three
With a super heavy duty Elmer's Glue Stick Extreme ( non toxic stuff that works really well with paper projects and is safe just in case the little one decides he wants to make a meal out of your projects!) I glued the first 2 halves, then I cut a piece of embroidery floss to about a foots length and glued each end to the seam of the two halves.  Then I continued to glue the last 2 folded circles to the project to make a 3D circle!

Step 4
Now this is crucial...... You have to squeeze the new ornament together for at least 30 seconds to make sure it is thoroughly adhered.

Now you have a fantastic new ornament that your little angel ( or animal!) can't smash on the floor! :)
Click Here if you rather buy these than make them :)

Merry Christmas!! Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year!!

P.S.  If you don't have the time to make these ornaments on your own, buy some here.
