Valentines Day

We tried to go on a picnic.  Alex decided that wasn't going to happen. I wrote a poem for Patrick and I want to remember it forever so I'm going to post it here.... I have already spilled tea on the original.  ( I'm a slob!)


I like that you're sweet,
I'm glad that you're kind;
you get on my nerves,
but I'm glad that you're mine!

You have soft brown hair,
and "sunflower" eyes;
you cry like a girl,
not " one of the guys".

I love the sound of your laugh,
and the smile on your face;
I never feel at home,
until you're in the place.

You can be stubborn,
but then so can I;
that's why I forgive you;
you're MY kind of guy.

You make the bathroom stink!
You take forever to poo;
but if you weren't in my life,
I don't know what I'd do!


.... And that's as far as little Zander would let me get before I could give Patrick the poem... He's such a girl, and teared up! I love my girly man!  I wasn't sure about the poo verse, but it wouldn't have been right without it! I think it added the finishing touch!
